LUCA POLLASTRI
German magazines have defined him as “…seductive with his thoughtfulness and his youthful charm,” and “…a humorous and funny organist, otherwise he couldn’t play in such a brilliant way.” LUCA POLLASTRI is the Italian organist of the Fidenza Cathedral, Parma, Italy. He is a composer, the conductor of a choir, and a teacher. He also has a more meditative and intimate side; the German press asserts: “…the peacefulness from which he seems to get his energy immediately attracts the audience’s attention…” But it is with the music of Bach, “played in a fresh, spontaneous and heart-touching way, that he can reach the heart of the audience.” www.lucapollastri.it (photo: Raquel Calixto)
