DAN GABEL’S HIGH SOCIETY ORCHESTRA
Dan Gabel leads three different groups–each focused on entertaining the audience, but each with a distinct sound:
Dan Gabel and The Abeltones is an 18-piece Big Ban, fronted by trombonist Gabel. With female vocalists and sporting a vintage look–and with a repertoire of more than 2000 arrangements, the Abeltones are the real deal–a Big Ban that looks and sounds just like the 1930s and 40s. Dan Gabel’s High Society Orchestra is a 10-piece ensemble that calls to mind the Jazz Age as it stomps through both known and rare tunes. “Authentic Jazz from the Roaring ’20s,” the High Society Orchestra is perfect for white or black tie events, Great Gatsby parties, and social functions where you want some toe-tapping music. Dan Gabel’s Hot Jazz Combo is customizable to fit your needs. Perfect for a smaller venue, the Combo can expand from 2 to 8 talented musicians.
