MARTIN SETCHELL
“A virtuoso of awesome capabilities,” MARTIN SETCHELL, the English-born concert organist now resident at Christchurch Town Hall, New Zealand, is determined to reinstate the pipe organ as the King of Instruments through his spirited playing, lively personality, and appealing repertoire. Far from playing stock recital programs, Martin’s entertaining concerts enthrall audiences of all ages. Bach and the French Romantics typically rub shoulders with Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance, Sousa’s Washington Post, or Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumble Bee.
